  1. Monday:

Spiritual: Exodus and Gospel of Mark reading

    Workout:

    15 minute AMRAP:
    – 200 meter run
    – 10 burpees
    – 20 KB swings (35 lb)

I got 4 rounds in… it was definitely a struggle this morning. Didn’t feel especially strong.

Cashed out with 3 rounds of 0:45 planks with 0:30 rest in between.

  2. Monday:

    Spiritual:

Scripture reading ( focusing on the Passion narratives as we turn the corner into Holy Week). Exodus Reflection

I wasn’t able to fit a work out in due to a crazy work schedule.

    Tuesday:

Scripture reading ( focusing on the Passion narratives as we turn the corner into Holy Week). Exodus Reflection

    For time:

    3.6 Mile Run

(28.28) I took the day off to spend time with my kids on Spring Break, so running up the hills around my house made for a slow run.

  3. Tuesday:

Spiritual: Exodus meditation (day 35) and read Chapter 11 Gospel of Mark.

    Workout:

    4 Rounds for Time:
    – 50 jump ropes
    – 20 squats
    – 8 pull-ups

Forget the time… it took like 39 minutes since I literally stink beyond words at jumping rope. I can do the first 50 but after that I am lucky to get 2 jumps in a row. It’s painful but I will keep trying.

I did 6 pull-ups without assistance and then used one band to do the rest.

  4. Monday – wasn’t feeling well – didn’t work out – didn’t feel well all day.

Tuesday – woke up not feeling well – ran ~2.2mi in 20:22min – feel pretty good now.

So in my head I know that exercising today helps me feel good today. But, I don’t always know that with my heart. I know eating well helps me feel good and eating bad doesn’t. I guess that’s kind of how spiritual and physical are linked. I know how to be a saint in my head, but it still is hard, every day, every hour, every minute. I feel better when I pray – I feel discontent when I don’t.

Theology of the Body in action!

Thanks guys for helping me to keep focused on my spiritual life and my physical life – together.

  5. Wednesday:

    Spiritual:

Scripture reading, Exodus reflection and Office of Readings (awesome readings today!)

    Physical:

    “Angie”

    For time:

    100 Pull-ups
    100 Push-ups
    100 Sit-ups
    100 Squats

    18:17 – I’m smoked.

  6. Wednesday Spiritual: Exodus meditation and Gospel of Mark
    Wednesday Workout: Rest day.

Thursday Spiritual: Exodus meditation, daily readings, Gospel of Mark, and read about St. Patrick.
    Thursday Workout:

    21-15-9 reps for time:
    – Shoulder Press (30 lb dumbbells)
    – Squats
    – KB Swings (35 lb)

    Time was 3:11

I then cashed out with 3 rounds of 0:40 planks and 2 sets of 25 push-ups

  7. Friday:

Spiritual: Exodus meditation and Gospel reading

    Workout:

    AMRAP in 12 minutes:
    – 400m run
    – 5 pull-ups
    – 10 thrusters (30 lb dumbbells)

I got 3 rounds in and managed to do all 15 pull-ups unassisted. Booyah!

Cashed out with 3 rounds of 0:45 planks (:30 rest in between).
